Mississippi Democrat Says His Primary Election Was Rigged

Mississippi Democrat David Archie alleges that he lost a recent primary election due to cheating. Archie says the local Democratic Party interfered with the election by way of extra ballots and electronic vote manipulation. During a press conference, he said that it is impossible to win against cheating. To be clear, Archie is alleging that his own party was in on the “fix” in favor of his opponent, another Democrat. Everyone involved with this situation is black, so the race card is not being used here at all. Archie’s opponent, Anthony “Tony” Smith, says that Archie should leave with dignity and that there was no rigging.

Such a case mirrors allegations made by Donald Trump in Georgia and also by Kari Lake in Arizona. Stacey Abrams of Georgia and Hillary Clinton during her 2016 Presidential campaign also made similar statements. They all alleged that there was fraud, cheating, vote manipulation, and more. Some would argue that Hillary Clinton’s allegations of outside interference, particularly from Russia, led to Trump’s first impeachment which was ultimately unsuccessful. Be that as it may, none of the aforementioned people have faced criminal penalties for questioning the results of their election outside of President Donald Trump. And the reason for that is easy to see.
