An unhinged Democrat confronted a Republican poll greeter in Arlington, Virginia in a viral video. The poll worker, Matthew Hurtt, says the man in question started up a conflict with him before he went to cast his vote. The upset individual started the conflict right back up as soon as he exited the building after voting, so Matthew decided to hit the record button. What he captured was an unhinged man hurling all sorts of random accusations due to Matthew’s party affiliation.
Greeters are the people who volunteer outside polling locations asking people if they would like a sample ballot, for example. The sample ballot would have all of the candidates from one particular party on it, showing the person a quick and easy way to cast their vote. There are often Democrat, Republican, and other party-affiliated volunteers outside of polling locations nationwide on election day. Usually, all of the volunteers and voters get along just fine. This day in Arlington was just a tad bit different, though.
